From August 2013 to August 2014, as interns for BrightStart Learning, Aaron James and Jocelyn Nicolas implemented an original Western music curriculum for over 100 students on the Asia’s Hope Children's Campus in Battambang, Cambodia. They taught music theory, guitar (electric and acoustic), bass guitar, voice, drum set, and piano. In addition to private instruction, they also implemented a music composition course for 5 advanced music students. Through this course, Aaron and Jocelyn taught the basics of songwriting with various composition techniques. The final project was for each student to write and record one original, music composition. These compositions make up The Whispers Project Volume 2: The Hope Fellowship.
